The famous ultralight outdoor appliance innovator Flextail has designed what it calls the world’s smallest air pump for sleeping pads for campers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Branded as the Flextail Zero Pump, this little and pocket-friendly gadget is a 1.2-ounce ultralightweight air pump with a small cylindrical shape and a replacement battery.
The high-efficiency Zero Pump can inflate and deflate your air products in just 50 seconds, as it can offer an airflow of 180 L per minute and an air pressure of 2.5 kPa.
The Zero Pump features the brand’s patented AIRVORTECH technology accompanied by a micro-motor, which makes it one of the smallest and handiest air pumps out there.
The little device comes with as many as six multi-purpose nozzles to fit the sleeping pads of different brands, and with a single charge, it can inflate up to 25 sleeping pads continuously.
So, in short, whether it is a Therm-A-Rest, Nemo, Bid Agnes, Exped, Klymit, or any other brand, you can manage the task of pumping with this small device in a breeze.
Flextail has released the product on Indiegogo for crowdfunding, like most of its previous products. The early bird price of the Zero Pump starts at $36, which, as per the brand, is 40% off of its retail price. The brand plans to ship it to contributors across the world in November 2023.
As of this writing, a few hours after its release on the crowdfunding platform, Zero Pump has attracted nearly 300 backers, with around 50 days more to go until the campaign ends.
