The Solix F3800 is Anker’s whole-house solar battery. The brand first put on display this massive 3,849 Wh battery pack along with a mid-range battery, the Anker Solix C1000, at IFA 2023 in Berlin.
The Solix F3800 has a 6000-watt inverter, and you can expand its storage up to 26.9 kWh using up to three units of the brand’s expansion battery modules.
Moreover, thanks to its dual voltage output option, you can pair two pieces of the base models to get a huge output of 12000 watts at 240 volts. This also helps you double the maximum storage capacity up to a whopping 53.8 kWh in total.

Overall, the F3800 marks Anker’s entry into the highly competitive solar home battery market, where we already have incredible products from brands like Bluetti, Zendure, Jackery, EcoFlow, Tesla, and Mango Power. Anker, which is famous for its series of small and midsize power stations, will surely pose a serious threat to all the brands if its model has better pricing.

Though it was put on display at IFA in September 2023, Anker officially launched the Solix F3800 on Kickstarter in October 2023.

The big-capacity Anker portable home battery is launched with game-changing early bird pricing on Kickstarter. The first lot of 200 models were on sale at a price of around $2,200 at the launch, and the lot was sold out in a few minutes.
The next lot of early bird pricing (1000 units) is priced at $2600. The brand expects to start shipping the large power station in January 2024. The attractive pricing is indeed one of the biggest selling points of the Anker power station when compared to most of its rivaling products, like the EcoFlow Delta Pro, Bluetti Ep800, Goal Zero Yeti Pro 4000, and more.

Anker Solix F3800 vs. EcoFlow Delta Pro
EcoFlow has indeed been one of the main competitors for Anker for a while in the market for solar power stations. Customers have been widely comparing Anker’s power stations to EcoFlow’s Delta series, especially its flagship Delta Pro.
Here, Anker looks to have confidently outplayed EcoFlow with its brand-new Solix F3800. As EcoFlow is rumored to soon emerge with the next edition of its famous Delta Pro outdoor-friendly home battery, Anker has unveiled its big-size model, the F3800, which has received a lot of response from both outdoor and off-grid power enthusiasts.
It looks like the product’s launch on Kickstarter has been keenly anticipated by the customers, as it clearly reflected in attracting around 500 backers in a few hours after its launch on October 9, 2023.
Before moving into a specs comparison, I see that Anker has quickly gained a clear edge over all its competing brands with really competitive pricing for its new battery.
When it comes to specs, the Anker battery is more powerful in both battery capacity and output. As you can see, it is a 3.8 kWh LFP battery, and it features a 6000W@240V AC inverter, while its EcoFlow rival is only a 3.6 kWh/3600W@120V power station.
As far as the much-coveted battery scalability is considered, you can crank up a Solix F3800 up to a massive 26.9 kWh home battery, while a Delta Pro can only be taken up to 10 kWh with two units of extra smart batteries.
At the maximum, you can stretch out a Delta Pro up to 25 Kwh by pairing two units of the mother units and connecting the whole setup to its smart gas generator, which cancels out the green energy concept. Meanwhile, once two units of the Solix F3800 are paired together, you get double the storage capacity (26.9 + 26.9 kWh) at 12000 watts.
Anker Solix F3800 vs. Bluetti AC500+B300S
After the Delta Pro, Bluetti’s flagship modular battery, the AC500 is another close rival to Anker’s new battery. Though Bluetti has bigger and more powerful home backup systems like the EP800 and EP900, the AC500+B300S looks to be a model that perfectly falls into the same category as the Anker Solix F3800.
The AC500, as you may know, is a 100% modular power station, which means that its base unit doesn’t have a battery under the hood. It becomes a complete power station only when attached to at least one unit of its famous expandable battery, the B300S.
Anyway, with a single unit of the B300S, the AC500 is a 3072 Wh power station, and you can add up to six units of the same battery modules to take its storage capacity up to a huge 18 kWh.
The inverter it features is a 5000-watt unit at 120 volts, and you can certainly pair two units to double both the storage capacity and inverter output at 240 volts.
Of course, the AC500 has the advantage of having an increased solar charging input of 3000 watts, which makes it outperform Anker’s new machine as well as EcoFlow’s top-selling Delta Pro.
But the key selling point that makes the Anker F3800 stand out is still the price, along with its dual voltage (120V and 240V) facility in a single unit only.
Overall, compared to both the EcoFlow and Bluetti alternatives, the Anker can attract a lot more customers because of its cheaper price, at least during the Kickstarter campaign.
